How it works

How entry in the MIOZE register proceeds

An entry in the MIOZE register opens the way to generating energy in a small installation as a business activity and to the preferences provided for in the Renewable Energy Sources Act. Three main stages.

  1. Analysis and verification of the installation

We check the technical parameters and confirm that the installation meets the definition of a small RES installation and the requirements of the register.

  2. Documentation

We prepare the description of the installation, its technical data, certificates and the other documents required by the authority keeping the register.

  3. Filing and entry

We file the notification with the MIOZE register and monitor the verification until the proceeding is completed.

Who needs an entry in the MIOZE register

The MIOZE register is the register of producers of energy in a small renewable energy installation. Entry in the register is a condition for carrying on the business of generating energy in a small installation, because this is a regulated activity. It also matters for obtaining some of the rights and preferences provided for in the Renewable Energy Sources Act. Legal support is useful where the technical documentation or the administrative procedure presents a challenge for the investor.

What is worth knowing about the register

Entering an installation in the register requires technical and administrative criteria to be met. The installation must actually be built, it cannot merely be planned. In the filing documentation the decisive elements are the correct technical parameters, that is rated capacity, type of source and capacity of the installation, together with the data of the installation and of its owner. Errors in the filing can delay the process, which is why careful preparation of the documentation is an investment in the smooth course of the procedure.

What the fee depends on

  • Type and capacity of the installation (photovoltaic, wind, biomass)
  • Number of technical details requiring verification and correction
  • Location and the distribution system operator involved

We agree the fee individually, at an hourly rate or as a flat fee, and confirm it before we start.
