  • Building permits and environmental decisions (separate scope)
  • Grid connection conditions and interconnection agreements (separate service)
  • Appeals against URE decisions to the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection (SOKiK) (priced separately)

How it works

How a generation licence is obtained

Above 50 MW the licence route applies, and the work concentrates on the project documentation and on the proceeding before the regulator. Four steps.

  1. Regulatory assessment

    We confirm the regime applicable to the project and the documentation the application will require.

  2. Documentation completion

    We gather property title documentation and the technical and financial documents required for the application.

  3. URE application

    We file the application and conduct the correspondence and clarifications during the proceeding.

  4. Decision

    We conduct the matter through to the decision of the President of URE and explain the obligations arising from the Energy Law and the Renewable Energy Sources Act.

Who needs this service

The service is for investors and operators bringing a renewable generation project above 50 MW into operation, who must hold the proper regulatory basis before they begin selling energy. A project of this size carries the largest documentation set and the most demanding proceeding, so the work runs from the review of what the project already holds, through the application, to the decision of the President of URE.

What shapes the scope at this capacity

Pricing for the largest band assumes one project with complete technical and legal documentation. Portfolios of several projects are quoted separately, and a complex ownership structure or formal gaps in the documentation increase the scope of work. Installation capacity is the primary pricing factor, which is why the quote is structured in capacity bands rather than as one flat figure.

  • Number of installations and locations covered by the application
